A competition in which tractors or modified trucks drag a weighted sled along a dirt track, with the longest full pull taking the class. Entries run in weight and modification classes, and the loudest modified classes are usually scheduled as an evening grandstand event. Related pulling events found on Pennsylvania fairgrounds include horse and pony pulls and antique tractor classes, which draw a very different crowd and noise level.
